Saturday, May 21, 2011 Breakfast with Marilyn Heap (for women only)
As we celebrate the month of our Blessed Mother our
breakfast will be dedicated to her and to all of the ladies that will be with us for the first time
At the suggestion of her Archbishop in New Orleans, our speaker, Marilyn Heap worked with ladies from local prayer groups to form the first Magnificat chapter and sponsor the first Magnificat Breakfast held on Oct. 7, 1981, on the feast of the Most Holy Rosary.
She is currently our international Treasurer.

To quote Marilyn: "Our purpose is to inspire women to grow in or to deepen their relations with the Lord through the testimonies that are given and the fellowship experienced at the meals as women share with one another how they came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, were renewed in their faith in Him, and can speak in praise of the mighty works He has done for them."
"Magnificat women, like Mary, are to be the instruments through which the Holy Spirit is imparted to their sisters who come desiring to satisfy their deep hungers and thirsts, seeking answers to questions about the faith, or just simply to see what is happening.
Without a doubt, when women publicly share their faith walk with other women and speak about God's goodness to them, the Holy Spirit begins to move in the hearts and minds of all those present either to desires a personal relationship with the lord if they do not have one or to deepen their own personal relations with the Lord. Form this experience, women come to desire to grow in holiness."
Join us to listen to Marilyn's testimony and to share just as Mary shared with Elizabeth at the Visitation.
